Shepherding the Church Toward Jesus

Leadership in the church is vital to advance the hope of the gospel. But church leadership is reckless without guiding tenets. Gospel Leaders shepherd the church toward Jesus first and foremost by gospel principles and secondarily with all four aspects of emotional intelligence:

  1. Self-Awareness
  2. Self-Management
  3. Relational Awareness
  4. Relational Management

It's time to change how we lead the church

Gospel Leader will provide content for church leaders, hold webinars, train church leaders, and coach leaders to shepherd the flock of God among them.

About Scott Thomas

Scott is most passionate about the overall health of church leaders as they fight to proclaim the gospel and lead people on the mission of Jesus (Matt. 28:18-20). Church leaders need to pay careful attention to all the flock entrusted to their care (Acts 20:28). But they also need to pay careful attention to leading themselves as they care for the church of God.

Scott and Jeannie have been married since 1981 and have two incredible sons, each married to a beautiful, sweet wife and four grandchildren. They have continually served in the local church for over 40 years as a vocational pastor. Scott serves as the Pastor of Church Planting at Immanuel Nashville, an Acts 29 church. Scott served as President of Acts 29 for many years and Executive Leadership for C2C Collective in Canada and the US. Scott was a lead pastor for 17 years, planting two churches and replanting three others. Scott has an MA in Missional Leadership.

Scott co-authored Gospel Coach and has trained over 6,000 people in this gospel-centered system to care for church leaders. He authored The Gospel Shaped Leader, The Gospel Shaped Leader WorkbookGospel Coach Workbook, 20 Great Truths, and Redeeming Grace: A Bible Study on the Book of Ruth
